Nonjudicial arrest records of minors who successfully complete diversion programs become confidential and exempt from public records requirements under s. 119.07(1) and the State Constitution

Records may only be accessed by criminal justice agencies for specified purposes outlined in existing statute

Exemption applies retroactively to records held before, on, or after July 1, 2020

Exemption subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and will be repealed on October 2, 2025, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Effective date contingent on passage of HB 615 or similar legislation in the same legislative session
