Public swimming pools must have an emergency telephone available for users by December 31, 2020, or an earlier date set by the county health department

Telephone must be capable of directly dialing 911 or a central monitoring station that is ETL or UL listed and complies with North American safety standards

Telephone must be permanently mounted inside the pool premises or outside within 75 feet of a pool entrance, and must include dialing instructions

If the telephone is not visible from within the pool premises, a sign indicating its location must be posted inside the pool area
