Repeals section 741.212 of Florida Statutes, which previously prohibited marriages between persons of the same sex

Removes the state prohibition on recognizing same-sex marriages entered into in any jurisdiction

Removes restrictions preventing Florida state agencies and subdivisions from giving effect to public acts, records, or judicial proceedings related to same-sex marriages or relationships from other jurisdictions

Removes the statutory definition of the term "marriage"

Takes effect July 1, 2020
