Repeals Section 288.11625, Florida Statutes, which established the Sports Development Program that provided state funding for professional sports facilities

Eliminates monthly distributions of up to $13 million annually (capped at $7 million in FY 2014-2015) to applicants certified under the Sports Development Program

Removes the requirement for municipalities and counties to use local government half-cent sales tax revenues to reimburse the state under the Sports Development Program

Eliminates the triennial analysis of the Sports Development Program previously required from the Office of Economic and Demographic Research and OPPAGA beginning January 1, 2018

Effective date of July 1, 2020
