School districts must provide either the SAT or ACT to all grade 11 public school students beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, with each district choosing which assessment to administer

Statewide standardized ELA and mathematics assessments in grades 3-6 must be delivered in paper-based format, and the grade 9 ELA assessment will be discontinued after the 2021-2022 school year

Postsecondary students entering Florida College System institutions or state universities beginning in 2020-2021 must demonstrate civic literacy competency by completing a civic literacy course and passing an assessment; high school students who pass the assessment are exempt from the postsecondary requirement

Schools earning two consecutive "D" grades or an "F" grade must implement district-managed turnaround plans, and schools that fail to improve to a "C" or higher after completing the turnaround plan cycle must implement additional options including closure, conversion to charter school, or contracting with an external operator

Final report cards must be issued within 1 week after the last day of school, or within 2 weeks after receipt of assessment results for students in courses with statewide standardized end-of-course assessments
