Department of Health must create and make available electronically a pamphlet containing information on screening for and treatment of preventable infant and childhood eye and vision disorders, including retinoblastoma and amblyopia.

Birth centers must provide the informational pamphlet to clients during postpartum care.

Hospitals providing birthing services must provide the informational pamphlet to parents during postpartum education.

Health care practitioners attending planned out-of-hospital births must ensure the informational pamphlet is provided to parents after the birth.

Effective date is July 1, 2020.
