Amends Florida Statutes section 1009.40 to prohibit denial of resident student classification based solely on immigration status for state financial aid eligibility purposes.

Allows students granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to qualify for resident financial aid classification.

Allows students granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or other prosecutorial discretion forms by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to qualify for resident financial aid classification.

Makes technical correction changing "which" to "that" in reference to accredited Florida colleges and universities.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
