Repeals section 373.467, Florida Statutes, which established the Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration Council.

Removes the requirement for the Harris Chain of Lakes Restoration Council to participate in the restoration program review and recommendations.

Modifies the Harris Chain of Lakes restoration program to be directed by the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in conjunction with the St. Johns River Water Management District, Department of Environmental Protection, and local governments.

Eliminates the requirement for the Council to recommend additional studies as part of the restoration program.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
