Defines "race" to include traits historically associated with race, including hair texture, hair type, and protective hairstyles such as braids, locks, and twists in both employment and housing discrimination law.

Prohibits sponsors under the Florida Housing Finance Corporation Act from discriminating against persons or families based on race as newly defined.

Adds definitions of "protective hairstyle" and expanded "race" to the Florida K-20 Education Code system-wide definitions.

Applies discrimination provisions to the State Apartment Incentive Loan Program to incorporate the amended definition of race.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
