Removes requirement that school districts and certified collective bargaining units for instructional personnel negotiate a memorandum of understanding addressing selection, placement, and expectations of teachers before the 2019-2020 school year.

Eliminates requirement that employee organizations include membership information in applications for renewal of registration, including number of eligible employees and breakdown of dues-paying versus non-dues-paying members.

Removes requirement that employee organizations with fewer than 50 percent dues-paying members petition the Public Employees Relations Commission for recertification as the exclusive representative of employees in the unit.

Effective date: July 1, 2020.
