• Charter schools must expand website information to include graduation rates and students' statewide standardized assessment results; teachers must have bachelor's degrees and comply with State Requirements for Educational Facilities of the Florida Building Code.

• Private schools must provide at least 100 minutes of weekly recess for kindergarten through grade 5 students, participate in statewide assessment programs, establish curricula complying with Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, and employ teachers with bachelor's degrees.

• Private schools must comply with State Requirements for Educational Facilities of the Florida Building Code; local governments cannot impose more stringent building requirements on private schools than on public schools, with injunctive relief available for violations.

• Private schools must be graded according to the same system as public schools, assess at least 95 percent of eligible students, and the Department of Education must develop school report cards annually in collaboration with private schools.

• Charter schools' recess exemption is eliminated, requiring them to comply with the 100-minute weekly recess requirement for kindergarten through grade 5 students that applies to district schools.
