Courses must be offered as electives for students in grades 9-12 and must maintain religious neutrality without endorsing, favoring, or showing hostility toward any particular religion or nonreligious perspective

Retains existing provision allowing districts to set aside up to 2 minutes for silent prayer or meditation at the start of each school day or week
