Exempts from public records requirements the home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, places of employment, and photographs of current or former emergency room health care practitioners

Extends the same exemption to the names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of these practitioners, as well as the names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children

Defines "emergency room health care practitioner" as any licensed health care practitioner working in a hospital emergency department, including physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and other licensed personnel

Applies retroactively to information held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date

Subject to Open Government Sunset Review and scheduled for automatic repeal on October 2, 2025, unless reenacted by the Legislature
