Authorizes courts to award petitioners temporary or permanent exclusive care, possession, or control of animals owned by either party or minor children in domestic violence injunction cases

Permits courts to order respondents to have no contact with the animal and prohibits them from taking, transferring, encumbering, concealing, harming, or disposing of the animal

Exempts animals owned primarily for bona fide agricultural purposes and service animals if the respondent is the service animal's handler

Applies to both temporary ex parte injunctions (issued when immediate danger exists) and final injunctions (issued after notice and hearing)
