Expands eligibility for expunction and sealing of criminal history records to include convictions for possession of cannabis under 20 grams (s. 893.13(6)(b))

Creates an exception allowing individuals with a cannabis possession conviction to petition for expunction or sealing even if they have a prior adjudication of guilt, which normally disqualifies applicants

Permits one prior sealing or expunction specifically for cannabis possession convictions without counting against the general rule that limits individuals to a single lifetime sealing or expunction

Maintains existing eligibility requirements including: no pending court supervision, valid certificate of eligibility from the Department of Law Enforcement, and payment of $75 processing fee

Effective date of July 1, 2020
