Supreme Court justices residing outside Leon County may designate a district court of appeal courthouse, county courthouse, or other appropriate facility in their district as their official headquarters for subsistence and travel reimbursement purposes

District court of appeal judges living more than 50 miles from their assigned headquarters may designate a county courthouse or other facility in their county of residence as their official headquarters, with eligibility for subsistence and travel reimbursement subject to available funds

Circuit court appellate jurisdiction is limited to appeals from final administrative orders of local code enforcement boards and other reviews expressly provided by law, effective January 1, 2021

County courts may certify questions of great public importance or those affecting uniform administration of justice to district courts of appeal in final judgments appealable to circuit court

Public defenders' duties are expanded to include handling county court appeals in addition to circuit court appeals within the state courts system, effective January 1, 2021
