Board members and public employees of special districts and community development districts do not abuse their public positions under Article II of the State Constitution if their actions are authorized under specified ethics provisions (s. 112.313(7), (12), (15), or (16) or s. 112.3143(3)(b))

Voting-related acts or omissions by board members are not considered abuse of position when proper voting conflict procedures under s. 112.3143 have been followed

Special districts may satisfy audit report posting requirements by linking to the Auditor General's website instead of hosting the document directly

Removes requirement for special districts to post meeting materials along with agendas on their websites; agendas must still be posted at least 7 days before meetings

Removes requirement for special districts to post public facilities reports on their websites; effective date is July 1, 2020, with governance provisions effective January 1, 2021
