Extends the designation of certain rural hospitals through June 30, 2025, and extends Medicaid managed care plan contracts to 6-year terms beginning with the 2023 procurement process, with existing contracts extended until December 31, 2024

Repeals the annual assessment on health care entities (s. 395.7015) and the Florida Multiphasic Health Testing Center Law (part I of chapter 483), while expanding exemptions from health care clinic licensure requirements

Modifies nursing home inspection requirements by allowing the agency to conduct periodic unannounced licensure inspections rather than mandating inspections every 15 months, with increased 6-month survey cycles for facilities cited with class I or multiple class II deficiencies

Requires the Agency for Health Care Administration to publish annual reports on health care price variations and electronic prescribing implementation on its website rather than submitting separate reports to the Governor and Legislature

Expands Medicaid background screening requirements to include persons rendering services to Medicaid recipients or having direct access to recipients' records, and allows the agency to recover investigative costs, legal costs, and attorney fees from audits and enforcement actions
