Authorizes municipalities and counties to establish idle speed, no wake boating-restricted areas within 200 feet of any shoreline by ordinance

Expands existing local government authority to create boating-restricted zones, which currently includes areas near boat ramps, marine fueling facilities, and lock structures

Reenacts section 327.41(2) regarding uniform waterway regulatory markers to incorporate the amendment allowing local governments to apply for permission to place regulatory markers in newly established boating-restricted areas

Effective date of July 1, 2020
