Portions of Urban Core Gun Violence Task Force meetings where exempt or confidential information is discussed are exempt from public meeting requirements under Florida's Sunshine Law

All exempt meeting portions must be recorded and transcribed; these recordings and transcripts are confidential and exempt from public records disclosure

A court may order release of recordings/transcripts after in-camera review if it determines the closed meeting included non-exempt discussions

The public meetings exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2025, unless reenacted by the Legislature

The bill's effective date is contingent on the passage of SB 652 or similar legislation establishing the Urban Core Gun Violence Task Force
