Prohibits nonservice animals (household pets) from entering or remaining in indoor portions of public food service establishments, restaurants, bars, lounges, and retail businesses

Requires the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to create standardized signs for entrances notifying guests that nonservice animals are prohibited, and to maintain a public website for filing complaints

Establishes escalating penalties for misrepresenting a pet as a service animal: warning for first offense, $100 fine for second offense, and second-degree misdemeanor with 30 hours of community service for third or subsequent offenses

Preserves the right of individuals with disabilities to use legitimate service animals in these establishments

Does not preempt local ordinances or regulations passed by counties, municipalities, or other local governments
