Adds three members to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission from among district school superintendents, principals, and classroom teachers, effective June 1, 2020

Requires threat assessment teams at each school to include a sworn law enforcement officer who has undergone threat assessment training, and mandates all team members participate in the process from start to finish

Mandates district school boards adopt emergency event family reunification policies and plans by August 1, 2021, to reunite students and employees with families after mass casualty or emergency situations

Requires active assailant emergency drills to include physical presence of law enforcement officers responsible for responding to the school, and strengthens mental health assistance allocation requirements including 15-day timelines for screenings and service initiation
