Managed care plans must collect and report Healthcare Effectiveness Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures, federal Core Set of Children's Health Care Quality measures, and federal Core Set of Adult Health Care Quality Measures.

Plans must collect and report Adult Core Set behavioral health measures beginning with calendar year 2024 data reports.

Beginning with calendar year 2025 data reports, plans must stratify all reported measures by age, sex, race, ethnicity, primary language, and Social Security Administration disability determination status.

Plans must publish their performance on these measures on their websites in a manner allowing recipients to reliably compare plan performance.

The Agency for Health Care Administration shall use HEDIS measures as a tool to monitor plan performance.
