• Creates a new "professional structural engineer" license category effective March 1, 2023, requiring applicants to hold an engineer license, have 4 years of structural engineering experience, and pass the 16-hour National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Structural Engineering examination.

• Allows applicants who apply before March 1, 2023 to satisfy the examination requirement through an affidavit of 4+ years of structural engineering experience, current professional engineering license, or threshold inspector license instead.

• Prohibits unlicensed persons from using titles "licensed structural engineer," "professional structural engineer," or "registered structural engineer" effective March 1, 2023, with exceptions for exempt persons.

• Establishes licensure by endorsement for professional structural engineers from other states or territories who have passed equivalent 16-hour structural engineering examinations.

• Adds professional structural engineering violations as grounds for disciplinary action and updates various statutes to include professional structural engineers alongside licensed engineers.
