Removes requirement that a licensed mental health professional be on premises when a registered intern provides clinical services in a private practice setting.

Adds definition of "supervision" to include the ability to communicate by telecommunication, in addition to accessibility or physical presence of the qualified supervisor.

Expands the list of experts eligible to evaluate a defendant's mental condition in criminal cases to include physicians licensed under chapters 458 or 459, in addition to existing psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals.

Effective date of July 1, 2021.
