Adds public records exemption to Florida's consumer data privacy law (s. 501.173) for information related to Department of Legal Affairs and law enforcement investigations of data privacy violations.

Information remains confidential and exempt from public records disclosure until an investigation is completed or ceases to be active.

During active investigations, exempted information may be disclosed by the department for official duties, public notification of data breaches, or to other governmental entities.

After investigation completion, permanently protects personal information, computer forensic reports, trade secrets, proprietary information, and data revealing security weaknesses from public disclosure.

Exemption subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals October 2, 2027, unless legislature reenacts it.
