Amends section 163.01 of the Florida Statutes to authorize legal or administrative entities created under the Florida Interlocal Cooperation Act to conduct public meetings and workshops using communications media technology.

Expands eligibility to include entities with member public agencies located in at least five counties (with at least three non-contiguous) or in four contiguous counties.

Requires meeting notices to state the use of communications media technology, specify attendance procedures, and provide a physical location where technology facilities are available.

Defines participation via communications media technology as constituting the individual's presence at the meeting.

Defines "communications media technology" to include conference telephone, video conference, or other communications technology enabling audible communication among all participants.

Effective date: July 1, 2021.
