Defines "associated condition" as a symptom or side effect related to cancer or cancer treatment that a healthcare provider determines would further jeopardize a patient's health if left untreated.

Prohibits health insurers and health maintenance organizations from excluding coverage for cancer drugs based on lack of FDA approval if the drug is recognized in standard reference compendia or medical literature.

Prohibits requiring insureds or subscribers to fail treatment with a different drug before covering drugs prescribed for stage 4 metastatic cancer and associated conditions.

Requires coverage of medically necessary services associated with drug administration and prohibits mandatory home infusion of cancer medications unless the treating oncologist determines it will not jeopardize the patient's health.

Takes effect July 1, 2021, and does not alter coverage limitations for non-cancer treatments or drugs determined contraindicated by the FDA.
