Authorizes political subdivisions (counties, municipalities, and other agencies) to hold public meetings via telephone, real-time videoconferencing, or similar electronic communication during a declared state of emergency.

Suspends laws requiring quorum to be present in person or requiring local governmental bodies to meet at a specific public place for up to 6 months from the date of emergency declaration, unless extended by Governor executive order.

Requires meeting notices to include information about remote participation methods and must state how interested persons may attend and identify any physical locations where attendance facilities will be available.

Preserves the right to inspect public records under Florida chapter 119.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
