Creates section 683.334 of Florida Statutes requiring the Governor to proclaim November 7 of each year as "Victims of Communism Day"

Mandates that "Victims of Communism Day" be suitably observed in all public schools of the state as a day honoring the approximately 100 million people who have fallen victim to communist regimes

If November 7 falls on a non-school day, the observance shall be held on the preceding school day or another school day designated by local school authorities

Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, high school students enrolled in the required United States Government class must receive at least 45 minutes of instruction on topics including Mao Zedong in China, Joseph Stalin and the Soviet System, Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution, Vladimir Lenin and the Russian Revolution, Hồ Chí Minh in Vietnam, and Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela, covering how victims suffered through speech suppression, poverty, starvation, migration, and systemic lethal violence

The act takes effect upon becoming law
