Creates s. 501.166, F.S. to regulate automatic renewal and continuous service offers by establishing disclosure requirements and prohibiting deceptive practices.

Requires businesses to present clear and conspicuous terms before purchase, including subscription continuation policy, recurring charges, renewal period length, and cancellation procedures.

Mandates affirmative consumer consent before charging for automatic renewal or continuous service, and requires businesses to provide a retained acknowledgment with cancellation instructions.

Establishes civil penalties of up to $100 for single violations and $500 for multiple violations; knowing violations subject to penalties up to $500 for single and $1,000 for multiple violations.

Exempts from requirements: franchise services, entities regulated by Department of Financial Services, security alarm operators, banks and financial institutions, and service contract administrators; effective July 1, 2021.
