Creates section 624.3095, F.S., requiring the Commissioner of Insurance Regulation to convene a Climate and Resiliency Task Force to address climate change impacts on Florida's insurance market.

Task force shall identify protection gaps in the insurance market and assess risk-transfer mechanisms and approaches for reducing, managing, and mitigating climate-related risks.

Task force shall consider mechanisms to improve access to affordable property and flood insurance, apply technology to climate risk mitigation, encourage natural infrastructure investment, address extreme heat effects on agriculture and businesses, and provide coverage for additional living expenses from flood damage.

Task force must submit recommendations to the Governor, Cabinet, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives beginning January 1, 2023, and at least once every 2 years thereafter.

Act takes effect July 1, 2021.
