Amends Florida Statutes section 456.47 to revise the definition of "telehealth" to include synchronous or asynchronous telecommunications technology for health care services such as assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and monitoring.

Removes audio-only telephone calls from the definition of telehealth services.

Exempts out-of-state health care professionals with active licenses in another state or jurisdiction from Florida's telehealth registration requirement when providing services to Florida patients.

Requires out-of-state telehealth providers to work in consultation with a Florida-licensed health care professional who has ultimate authority over the patient's diagnosis and care.

Effective date: July 1, 2021.
