Requires the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in consultation with the Department of Environmental Protection, water management districts, environmental groups, and affected farming groups, to adopt rules requiring facilities that culture Micropterus salmoides floridanus (Florida largemouth bass) to maintain stock acquisition documentation or records of genetic testing

Authorizes the sale of Florida largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides floridanus) as a food fish by certified aquaculture producers or licensed dealers, provided the product origin can be identified

Maintains the existing prohibition on the sale of all other fish in the genus Micropterus (other bass species), while carving out a specific exemption for the Florida largemouth bass subspecies

Amends section 597.004, Florida Statutes, governing aquaculture certificates of registration, adding genetic documentation requirements to the existing best management practices framework

Effective date of July 1, 2021
