Allows exiled professionals to substitute 3 years of lawful practice of the profession for the education requirement when applying for examination under s. 472.0101, F.S.

Reduces work experience requirement from 4 years to 2 years for applicants with a bachelor's degree in surveying and mapping or related fields.

Reduces work experience requirement from 6 years to 2 years for applicants with a bachelor's degree in non-surveying fields, and clarifies that 5 years of this experience must be in responsible charge.

Adds three new pathways to licensure: applicants with a 2-year associate degree (4 years experience), high school diploma (6 years experience), or verifiable work experience demonstrating responsible charge without specific education requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
