Expands s. 843.22, F.S. to apply to all felony offenses, not just burglary, when a person travels across county lines with intent to commit the crime.

Defines "felony offense" to include burglary (s. 810.02) and grand theft (s. 812.014), as well as attempts, solicitations, or conspiracies to commit these crimes.

Reclassifies a felony offense to the next higher degree if the person travels across county lines with intent to commit it in a county other than their county of residence, when the purpose is to thwart law enforcement tracking of stolen items.

Specifies that reclassified felony offenses are ranked one level above the standard ranking for sentencing purposes under chapter 921 and for determining incentive gain-time eligibility under chapter 944.

Takes effect October 1, 2021.
