Defines "infectious disease" as any condition caused by a disease declared a public health emergency under Florida statute 381.00315

Extends the presumption that a disability was suffered in the line of duty to include infectious diseases, in addition to hepatitis, meningococcal meningitis, and tuberculosis for emergency rescue and public safety workers

Requires workers claiming the presumption to submit a written affidavit verifying they were not exposed to the infectious disease outside the scope of employment

Requires vaccines or immunizations for disease prevention to be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration before employers can mandate them as a condition of receiving presumption benefits

Takes effect July 1, 2021
