Removes from Schedule V controlled substances a drug product in finished dosage formulation containing cannabidiol (CBD) derived from cannabis with no more than 0.1 percent residual tetrahydrocannabinols that has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Eliminates the exclusion of FDA-approved CBD drug products from the definition of "cannabis" in Florida law, making such products no longer subject to state cannabis regulations.

Conforms the definition of "cannabis" in section 893.02 to remove reference to the Schedule V CBD provision being eliminated.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
