Renames the "Criminal Punishment Code" to the "Criminal Public Safety Code" throughout Florida Statutes, affecting sentencing guidelines and procedures for felony offenses committed on or after October 1, 1998.

Revises a core principle of the sentencing code to shift the primary purpose from punishment to public safety, while maintaining punishment as a primary goal with rehabilitation subordinate to public safety.

Updates all references to the renamed code across 22 Florida Statute sections, including sentencing worksheets, offense severity ranking charts, appeals procedures, and correctional facility operations.

Makes conforming technical changes to section 893.20 (Continuing Criminal Enterprise) to align language with the renamed code.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
