Prohibits service of process for residential evictions during a declared state of emergency issued by the President, Governor, or local governing body under Florida law.

Extends the prohibition on service for 15 days after the state of emergency expires or terminates, or 15 days after any extension expires.

Provides immunity from liability for sheriffs and other process servers who fail to serve eviction-related writs, warrants, orders, or judgments during the emergency declaration period.

Tolls all statutory time periods for residential eviction proceedings during the emergency declaration period and requires courts to automatically stay eviction cases.

Effective July 1, 2021.
