Adds new exemption to public records law for home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of current and former county attorneys and assistant county attorneys.

Exempts names, home addresses, telephone numbers, photographs, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of county attorneys and assistant county attorneys.

Exempts names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by children of county attorneys and assistant county attorneys.

Legislature finds that releasing such personal and location information could endanger these persons from physical harm, emotional harm, or stalking by defendants or others, and that harm outweighs any public benefit from disclosure.

Takes effect July 1, 2021, and is subject to repeal October 2, 2024 unless reenacted by the Legislature.
