Removes the requirement that income from conservation land activities must be used to implement, maintain, and manage the management plan, allowing income to be retained for other purposes.

Expands permissible activities on conservation easement lands to include recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, and camping in addition to agricultural activities.

Eliminates the restriction that activities authorized under a conservation easement agreement must be current or historic uses of the land.

Maintains requirement that agricultural activities on conservation easement lands comply with best management practices adopted by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Effective date: July 1, 2021.
