Creates section 419.003 of Florida Statutes to provide liability protection for community residential group homes licensed under chapter 393 that serve medically dependent or technologically dependent children.

Extends liability protection to persons and providers licensed under chapter 400 who provide services to medically dependent or technologically dependent children in facilities licensed under chapter 393.

Shields covered facilities and providers from civil damages for providing or failing to provide medical care or treatment, except when damages result from clear and convincing evidence of intentional misconduct or gross negligence affecting another's life or health.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
