Exempts portions of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Disorder Services Commission meetings from public meeting requirements when exempt or confidential and exempt information is discussed.

Exempts these meeting portions from s. 286.011 and Article I, Section 24(b) of the Florida Constitution.

The exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2026 unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Establishes public necessity for the exemption by noting the commission investigates failures in mental health and substance abuse services and must discuss confidential information to develop system improvement recommendations.

Takes effect on the same date as related Senate Bill referenced in the legislation.
