Creates new statute allowing pregnant prisoners or mothers of children age 3 or younger at time of offense to earn gain-time enabling release after serving 65 percent of sentence, if they have no violent felony convictions, demonstrated good behavior, and completed at least one educational or rehabilitative program.

Defines "violent felony" as commission, attempt, or conspiracy to commit offenses enumerated in s. 775.084(1)(c)1., s. 827.03, s. 827.071, or s. 827.10.

Renders prisoners ineligible for early release under this section if the pregnancy terminates before birth or if parental rights are terminated through adoption or legal proceedings.

Amends s. 921.002 to reference "specified percentage" instead of fixed 85 percent minimum service requirement, and amends s. 944.275 to except this new statute from the 85 percent minimum service rule.

Takes effect July 1, 2021.
