Creates s. 843.31, F.S., making it unlawful for any person to approach or remain within 30 feet of a law enforcement officer after receiving a warning not to do so.

Applies to situations where the officer is engaged in lawful performance of official duties and the person's intent is to interrupt, disrupt, impede, provoke a physical response, or harass the officer.

Defines "law enforcement officer" using the same definition as s. 943.10(1), F.S.

Violation constitutes a misdemeanor of the second degree, subject to penalties under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083, F.S.

Effective date is October 1, 2021.
