Creates s. 943.6872, F.S., requiring law enforcement agencies to report officers with revoked certifications for misconduct to the National Decertification Index (NDI) beginning January 1, 2022.

Mandates all law enforcement agencies screen prospective officers against the NDI before hiring.

Allows the department to designate a comparable national registry as an alternative to the NDI for reporting and screening purposes.

Permits the Legislature to designate a different national registry through concurrent resolution.

Data specifications, reporting frequency, and format requirements are to be determined by the applicable registry operators.
