Extends the expiration date of a $3 surcharge on all criminal offenses listed in section 318.17 and noncriminal moving traffic violations from July 1, 2021 to July 1, 2026

Revenue from the surcharge is remitted to the Department of Revenue and deposited quarterly into the State Agency Law Enforcement Radio System Trust Fund of the Department of Management Services

Funds support the state agency law enforcement radio system and provide technical assistance to state and local law enforcement agencies for statewide systems of regional law enforcement communications

Department of Management Services may retain funds to recover costs of managing, administering, and overseeing the system, with the Joint Task Force on State Agency Law Enforcement Communications directing fund use

Effective date is July 1, 2021
