Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2021 for the public records exemption allowing the Department of Citrus to keep trade secret information confidential.

Establishes that trade secret information provided to the Department of Citrus, as defined in s. 812.081, remains exempt from public records disclosure requirements and the Florida Constitution.

Makes the trade secret exemption permanent by eliminating its sunset review provision under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect October 1, 2021.
