Amends section 601.15, Florida Statutes, to delete the scheduled repeal of a public records exemption for trade secret information held by the Department of Citrus.

Removes the requirement that the exemption for trade secrets of noncommodity advertising and promotional program participants be subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Maintains the confidentiality exemption for commercial information constituting trade secrets (as defined in section 812.081) that is required from program participants, protecting it from disclosure under public records law.

Makes the public records exemption permanent rather than allowing it to expire on October 2, 2021.

Effective October 1, 2021.
